Try to build up the routine from things you actually like to do; that helps you stick to it.
Do something different on days you’re tired of the routine.
Have multiple routines and switch between them.
Pick appropriate times of the day for the unpleasant things you need to do, such as:
first thing in the morning, when you have the energy/motivation
last thing at night when you’re too sleepy to care that it’s boring
etc.
